The leading shutter company in the UK for the past 20 years, American Shutters is run  by Simon and Sophie Eadie. The Eadies have more than 15 years' experience in the industry and worked closely with American Shutters for some years prior to taking over the company in 2008

Collaborations with designers, architects, builders and homeowners over many years give the Eadies unique experience in the shutter industry which are second to none. American Shutters is now able to respond to a multitude of different requirements, and offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of shutters and venetian blinds available anywhere in the world.

Our expert measurers will advise you on all aspects of these products, as well as help with the design and creation of your shutter requirements. Our trained carpenters will carry out the installation. We can supply shutters to anywhere in the world, but measuring and fitting will be subject to area.

We will make your shutters out of any stable hardwood available that you choose (inc Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Teak even Zebrano).

Our Tulip Wood Shutters can be painted in any of our specified range of colours (see “louvered shutters” Products page). Alternatively you can request a colour of your choice.

We use American Red Cedar for our Exterior Shutters which come in many designs and colours.

We also make shutters out of Aluminium as well as Vinyl (Polycell) and Acrylic (Parapan).

We make the most beautiful Venetian Blinds either painted, stained or natural wood.
